Full or Part-Time
We have a great opportunity for a temporary Dispensary Nurse (to provide maternity cover for up to 12 months) to lead and develop our dispensary service. As well as preparing and dispensing drugs and medication (including controlled drugs), you will also be responsible for day to day management of the service ensuring the service meets clinical needs together with professional and legal standards.
We are looking for someone with great organisation and time management skills, able to influence others, whilst managing and prioritising your own workload. Leading by example, you will continually monitor and suggest improvements to ways of working, promoting quality and good practice. You will be a registered Veterinary Nurse, preferably with previous experience of working within or leading a Dispensary Team. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, with strong motivation for the role and commitment to delivering high quality dispensary care.
We are very happy to consider full-time or part-time working arrangements – the right person is more important.
