Davies appoints new Finance Director
Davies Veterinary Specialists has appointed a new Finance Director. The private small animal veterinary referral centre welcomed Nick Bayston FCCA to its team last month.
Davies, based in Higham Gobion, Hertfordshire, is a leading multi-disciplinary, small animal veterinary referral practice based in the Bedfordshire countryside, with a team of more than 170 vets, vet nurses, physiotherapists, assistants and administrators.
Nick Bayston, a chartered certified accountant, is an experienced finance director with extensive knowledge not only of accounting & finance, but also corporate strategy, IT, facilities, risk management, governance, contract and company law. He has spent the past 15 years working in the IT services sector, with a diverse range of clients from small healthcare practices up to the world’s leading insurance companies.
Nick is a qualified drone pilot and an enthusiastic photographer. He has always had a keen interest in animals and has two Bengal cats. He has aspired to work within the animal care sector for many years and has been enjoying his induction at Davies, which has involved spending time in all areas of the business, including diagnostics, theatre and kennels.
