BVetMed MRCVS

Resident in Neurology

After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2013, Victoria spent two years as a small animal general practice vet in London. In November 2015 Victoria joined the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital, Cambridge where she completed a rotating internship. She then joined their anaesthesia department for four months, focusing mainly on anaesthetising dogs and cats with neurological diseases and learning how to manage their pain. In July 2017, Victoria became the neurology intern where she developed her ability to diagnose and treat neurological patients. She is currently working on two research projects looking at cervical intervertebral disc disease in dogs. Victoria is now on a three-year residency programme to become a specialist in neurology.

“As a vet, there is no replacement for knowing you have the strong support of your team; that outstanding patient care is of utmost importance to them; and that you are able to offer your clients the highest standard of diagnosis and treatment for their pet family. This encompasses the ethos at Davies Veterinary Specialists and is why I have chosen to join their world-class Neurology department”
