Anneliese graduated from the University of Edinburgh and spent the first five years of her career gaining experience in small animal general practice. She undertook further studies and specialist training at the University of Cambridge and the Royal Veterinary College to achieve the RCVS diploma in small animal medicine, the ACVIM diploma in oncology and a PhD in cancer immunology, working on canine melanoma. She enjoyed working in academia for a number of years, combining clinical work, teaching and research before moving to her current role at Davies Veterinary Specialists.
