After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2008, Becky completed a rotating internship at the University in the Small Animal Teaching Hospital. She spent a short period of time in first opinion practice before completing a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the Royal Veterinary College in 2013, being successful in obtaining the diploma in the same year.

Since then Becky has spent time as a Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and as a senior anaesthetist at the Animal Health Trust.

“I believe anaesthetists can have a hugely positive impact on a patient’s hospital stay, whether this be optimising pain management plans, ensuring anaesthesia is as safe as possible or contributing to the multi-disciplinary approach a more critical case may require.
